In a world first, the Global Music Match campaign has united 14 Music Export Programmes to encourage cultural exchange through the interwebs.

While the pandemic has prevented us from engaging in face-to-face musical and cultural exchange, founding partners Sounds Australia, Showcase Scotland Expo and Canada’s East Coast Music Association have partnered with 11 other organisations to bring a whopping 96 artists together from across the globe.

Representing Taiwan as the only Asian artists involved in this year’s exchange; Leaf Yeh 葉穎, Faye Hong 飛鴻, Cemelesai 徹摩, Outlet Drift 漂流出口 and Suming 舒米恩 have been handpicked by LUCfest Taiwan to embark on a mission of cultural exchange and to promote their music in different countries overseas.

Making the most of a bad situation, let’s hope they turn the internet into a funner and more positive place to be; livened up even more so by the sounds of cross-border collaboration!
